Our corrugated iron shed at home has a piece of weathered plywood covering up an old window opening. Over the years the plywood delaminated. One afternoon the sun lit up the freshly exposed plywood, in which I saw the scene of a harbour with sailboats, so I decided to make it the subject matter of an old boat shed. The older plywood became the blind partly open. I detailed the window frame to help with the creation of this artwork. "View from the Boat Shed"
