The tree trunk used for supporting an old stage structure in the garden finally lost its bark revealing the tracks of the termites. These tracks outlined a car shape. So that was the start of the composition. I added the lady under the car doing all the work while her partner sat under a parasol enjoying a drink. Day two was the return journey where she broke down again in exactly the same location.
