The Manly Ferry wharf in Sydney is the location where I saw this image on the wharf pylon. I photographed this image because the colour and texture caught my attention. By rotating the photo 90 degrees the landscape became very obvious as a coastal peninsula, with a light house and distant ocean views and the middle harbour at low tide. Once I added the detail of the boat sheds, the Title was decided upon. "Fishermans Retreat"
