Photographing a sheet of weathered plywood on our shed wall became a very interesting background canvas to start new artwork. The dampness in the wood had left dark moisture marks in the plywood, The sun created shadows and highlights. Looking closely, a group of figures became evident. By out lining these characters with complimentary colours the family group appeared. Red shoe laces highlight the frivolity.
