The tree trunk used for supporting an old stage structure in the garden finally lost its bark revealing the tracks of the termites. These tracks outlined a car shape. So that was the start of the composition. I added the lady under the car doing all the work while her partner sat under a parasol enjoying a drink. "Outback holiday Day Two" was the return journey where she broke down again in exactly the same location. by adding another tyre to the scene and mirror imaging the artwork helped to tell the storey
