Visiting Cockatoo Island earlier this year, we walked through the long tunnel dug out the sydney sandstone rock. next to the supporting structure for the roof, I saw this amazing colour and texture in the sandstone. I photographed it and it became the starting canvas for two artworks, this one shown below is "Last Minute Plowing" The other one is "Sheep at a Bore"
