Fire at Murtle Creek. Australian original art print.

In October 2019 the catastrophic bushfires destroyed my sister's property at Myrtle Creek near Casino northern NSW.  Shortly after we visited them to  help but instead together with my sister we sifted through the property to find interesting colours and textures to create new artwork. Her husband (a motor mechanic)  had equipment burnt. amongst that was the steel rusty parts cleaning trough. The colours and texture on the side panel resembled the burnt bush. I set out to create an artwork of that subject matter. "Fire at Murtle Creek" was the result.
