The colour and texture, shadow and sunlight on the bark of this old birch tree at Robertson NSW, became the background to this Australian snowy mountain scene. By rotating the photo of the tree to a form a landscape, the partially snow covered mountain scene became obvious, allowing me to imagine this remote town as a Parachute Dropping Inn point.
