I was sent a photograph taken by my sister Mary Shields Photography, which demonstrated her new found photographic dark room technique with various chemicals on unexposed paper. In the resultant image, colour and texture, I could see a number of oriental looking women walking in the mountains. With this image in my mind I proceeded to add detail to this original photo, creating this subject matter. The more I worked on it the better the drawing became. "Buskers on the Pass" was the final artwork.
