This came about after seeing the image of dark watermarking in the centre an oak wine barrel which was consequently photographed. Rotating the photo vertically, the shadow became a person standing at a railing. The orange spot appropriately became the sun with the barrel planks depicting the horizon and also the ships railing cables. I introduced the small distant sail boats to completed the scene.
